GLS Launches GlobalBusinessParcel to Connect Europe with the U.S. and Asia-Pacific

Madrid, April 3, 2025 – GLS Spain officially presents GlobalBusinessParcel, its new international service that enables direct, efficient, and highly competitive connections between Europe, the United States, and Asia-Pacific. This new logistics solution responds to the boom in cross-border e-commerce and the growing need for European businesses to access two of the world’s most important markets with ease.

The launch of GlobalBusinessParcel comes at a key moment for the company, following the integration of GLS US into the group’s European network—an important strategic move that strengthens its ability to offer a seamless international network, managed through a single platform and delivering a consistent level of service across continents.

With GlobalBusinessParcel, companies can ship parcels from anywhere in Europe to destinations in the U.S. or Asia, benefiting from optimized delivery times, digital customs clearance, full shipment tracking, and a unified customer service experience. This new offering leverages synergies between GLS’s own operations in the U.S. and its collaboration with SF Express, a leading logistics provider in the Asian market.

“The launch of GlobalBusinessParcel represents a natural evolution for GLS in Spain and a major opportunity for our customers,” said Jérôme Jaeger, Senior Manager International Sales at GLS Spain. “Our clients can now access strategic markets like the U.S., China, or Japan through a flexible and transparent solution, with close support throughout the entire logistics process.”

This new service has been tailored to meet the specific needs of each region. In the United States, GLS offers transit times of six to nine days, using its own distribution network and strategic partners to cover more ZIP codes on the West Coast than any other regional carrier. In Asia, the network relies on SF Express’s expertise, enabling deliveries to over 17 countries with competitive times, full visibility, and adaptation to local delivery preferences such as convenience points and smart lockers.

“We’re addressing a real market need: an accessible and reliable international solution that combines technology, local reach, and human support,” added Jaeger. “Our customers don’t have to choose between price or reliability—with GlobalBusinessParcel, they get both.”

With this launch, GLS further strengthens its role as a global logistics operator, combining the power of a well-established European network with the logistics capabilities of two key regions for global trade. This new service not only enhances its value proposition but also sets a new standard for international B2C deliveries.
