GLS XXL - 2 men delivery

In 2023, GLS Hungary established a new network separate from parcel delivery to perform the logistics tasks of high-volume and large-scale products. The central sorting plant in Dunaharaszti and 13 depots nationwide serve this area, which provides the quality we are used to from GLS. We safely transport flat-mounted furniture, sanitary ware, leisure equipment, garden tools, large household appliances, electronic products or even car tires.

At the given address, whether it is on the ground floor or upstairs, we will take the shipment to the designated room, all at no extra charge.

The addressee can open and check the integrity of the goods item-by-item upon receipt.

Value-added services

Upon delivery, the recipient pays the price of the goods in cash. The amount of the cash on delivery that can be collected in the case of cash payment: up to a maximum of HUF 1,000,000.

It can only be ordered together with the CashService. With its help, the Recipient can also pay the cash on delivery amount with his bank card on the mobile terminal at the courier, for which he will receive a receipt. The amount of cash on delivery that can be collected in case of payment by bank card: max. up to HUF 2,000,000

These simple, flexible and cost-effective services are suitable for example:

• Moving goods between stores,

• Collecting devices and machines that need repair,

• Carrying out warranty exchanges,

• Replacing seasonal products,

• Recycling packaging and empty packaging materials.

On behalf of our regular customers, we pick up packaged goods anywhere in the country and deliver them to the address provided. It is important to note that we cannot accept unpackaged or improperly packaged goods for delivery.

A solution for situations where the documentation accompanying the shipment needs to be verified by the recipient and returned to the sender. Convenient because GLS returns the signed document and ensures the handling of documentation for particularly high-value or special shipments.

By ordering the service, the sender has the opportunity to designate the person who can receive the shipment.

Advantages of the service:

• Only the person indicated on the label can receive the shipment,

• Important, confidential or high-value shipments are delivered directly to the authorized recipient. (for example, a computer)

At the time of delivery of the new electrical device or electronic device sent by the Client, we will take over the used electrical or electronic device from the Addressee and return it to the shipping address.
