With this service, senders ensure added security for all postal consignments when shipping high value goods - for example, smartphones or other electronic devices.

GLS provides the declared value dispatch service, the postal service whose special feature is the extension of GLS liability against loss, theft, total or partial destruction, if the sender chooses to insure all the shipments covered by the contract.
The maximum value of the liability cannot exceed RON 2,800. The service also involves the issuance of evidence upon request of submitting the postal consignment or delivery to the recipient.
We offer and provide this service exclusively in the case of commercial contracts concluded with legal persons. The service is expressly requested by the GLS contract client.
