Wildfires in the Gironde region affecting parcel operations

The ongoing wildfires in the Gironde region continue to cause road closures, access restrictions and operational disruptions.

As a result, collections and deliveries may be delayed or temporarily unavailable in the following areas:

Areas with limited access

  • 33115 – Pyla-sur-Mer
  • 33120 – Arcachon
  • 33260 – La Teste-de-Buch and Cazaux
  • 33470 – Le Teich and Gujan-Mestras

Access to these areas remains uncertain due to the closure of the A63 motorway and the D1250 road.

Collections and deliveries are temporarily suspended in the currently inaccessible areas.

We are closely monitoring the situation. Normal operations will resume as soon as access is restored and the authorities confirm that conditions are safe.

Spain

Wildfire-related restrictions in Spain lifted

Following the improvement of the situation in the areas affected by the wildfires, all temporary restrictions have been lifted.

Shipments can once again be registered as normal for all previously affected postal codes. Collections and deliveries are fully operational throughout these areas.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide further updates if new developments affect our operations.

Luxemburg

Due to reduced delivery capacity following new Luxembourg regulations for light commercial vehicles, delays to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg may occur over the next two weeks.

Our teams are adapting transport routes, strengthening the partner network and taking additional measures to reduce the backlog and limit the impact on shipments.

Italy

Operational delays in Italy

Union meetings took place at two national sorting centres in Italy last night. In addition, a technical issue with the sorting system at one of these locations slowed down operations.

As a result, deliveries may experience delays in the following postal code areas:

  • 06XXX – Foligno
  • 25XXX – Rovato
  • 31XXX – Treviso
  • 39XXX – Bolzano
  • 41XXX – Modena
  • 80XXX – Napoli

Our teams are working to clear the backlog and restore normal operations as soon as possible.
