The agreement with Galp is part of GLS Spain’s 2025–2026 expansion plan, which foresees more than 1,000 new openings to strengthen coverage and improve the pickup experience across the Iberian Peninsula.

Madrid, September 22, 2025 - GLS Spain has announced the expansion of its collaboration with Galp through a growth plan that includes the installation of more than 150 new lockers in the Galp Service Station network, consolidating its presence in the Iberian Peninsula following an initial rollout focused on Madrid and Barcelona.

This new agreement is part of GLS Spain’s 2025–2026 strategic plan, which aims to open more than 1,000 new pickup points nationwide. Of these, over 150 will be located at Galp service stations, expanding coverage, optimizing delivery times, and providing end customers with a more convenient, accessible, and reliable pickup experience.

Currently, GLS Spain operates more than 200 lockers, 60 of which are already located within Galp’s network, primarily in Madrid and Barcelona. This first phase has allowed the company to validate the model, optimize logistics and customer service processes, and lay the foundation for this large-scale rollout.

“The collaboration with Galp has proven to be a key pillar in our expansion strategy. Its strategically located service station network allows us to bring our services even closer to customers, offering a fast, secure, and customer-focused solution,” said Juan Sandes, Chief Strategy Officer at GLS Spain.

With this move, GLS Spain strengthens its commitment to innovation and customer proximity, positioning itself as a benchmark in last-mile pickup solutions across Spain.
