As such, GLS France meets internationally recognised high standards.
GDP – certified transport of medication
GLS France has been awarded GDP (Good Distribution Practice) compliance certification. GDP guidelines are mandatory for the wholesale of pharmaceuticals across the EU. GLS France therefore meets the stringent requirements for the safe, hygienic and product-appropriate transport of human medication.

GLS France has gained ISO 14001:2015 certification for its environmental management system in all European countries. This globally valid and recognised standard is one of the most important environmental management benchmarks for manufacturing companies and service providers alike.
ISO14083 - Verification Statement 2024
DEKRA Certification GmbH has verified the quantification and reporting of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from transport chain operations of General Logistics Systems B.V.. The reasonable assurance of the information provided in the GHG statement, as well as its conformity with the criteria set out in ISO14083:2023 has been confirmed. ISO 14083:2023 provides the standardised methodology for quantifying GHG emissions from transport chain operations.
The conformity was attested in Verification Report No. A23071350 and issued on 09.10.2025. The organizational scope covered all GLS subsidiaries in Europe and North America as well as the European net-work provider GLS International.
EcoVadis Bronze Medal
GLS Group received the EcoVadis Bronze Medal* in 2025 with 70 points, ranking in the top 16% of companies assessed globally.
