A general strike is planned across Italy for Friday, November 28

GLS italy is working to maintain services, but delays or disruptions (pickup, delivery, loading/unloading) may occur locally and at international hubs.

National and multi-union strike actions are planned in Belgium on the following dates:
– Monday 24 November,
– Tuesday 25 November,
– Wednesday 26 November.

With the announced strike notices, our Belgian colleagues expect disruptions on Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 November, but will remain “operational”. However, Wednesday 26 is expected to be much more difficult.

Please note that delays are therefore to be expected in the processing and delivery of shipments.

GLS Belgium is doing everything possible to minimize the impact on its operations.

Strike in Italy
The situation has improved compared to previous weeks. Some local branches are still facing a few difficulties. In response to this national inter-union movement, the GLS ITALY teams remain highly committed and are working daily to restore the situation.
