How does it work?
And it doesn't end there!
Recipient receives notification before the 1st delivery attempt (pre-redirection) or after (post-redirection). He can choose delivery to a GLS Shop (destination location/point/buffer area only).
The GLS Shop has a list of expected shipments: the new destination is added to the list. The shipment is delivered to the Shop by the GLS driver.
The delivery is ready: the recipient is notified and will have 10 days to pick up the parcel at the GLS Shop (he will get a reminder after 5 days).
If everything goes as planned, the recipient picks up the parcel: the Shop collects his signature and the shipment is delivered.
If the recipient does not pick up the parcel within 10 days, the driver will automatically pick it up and it will be returned to the sender.
